Relocation & Estate
Sale Assistant
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Professional
packing of household goods for clients
- Unpacking &
resettling of household goods in new home or apartment
- Clean out homes
of household goods no longer needed through donations or disposal of unusable
items
- Preparing
household goods for liquidation through an in person or an online estate sale
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must enjoy
working with older adults and their families during a time of significant
stress in their lives
- Excellent
organizational skills with ability to work both independently and efficiently
on assignments
- Experience in
home staging and retail store displays
- Ability to use
mobile phone applications, computers, and text messaging
Requirements:
- Must be a high
school graduate
- A satisfactory
background check is required of all candidates
- Must be able to
be physically active during work hours by standing, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Valid driver’s
license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to
interact and work in a team environment
- Must be able to
work in environments that may be pet friendly, dirty and dusty
Applicant should have a minimum of 25 hours a week,
Monday to Saturday, that they are available for work. This position is part
time, as needed, and no minimum number of hours is guaranteed each week.
Caring Transitions of Lake Norman is a locally owned company that helps individuals, usually seniors, relocate and/or
downsize, and liquidate excess personal property that is no longer needed. We also
perform complete estate liquidations and clean outs. Our territory includes Lake Norman and
surrounding areas. Travel to different locations is required. Caring
